Welcome to my personal Australia travel web site. My mission for this site is to provide useful information about travel to "the land down under". Including, pictures, stories, tourist information, links that are helpful, and travel tips. Also, to further exchange ideas, information, and relationships about the United States and Australia. If you like to travel to Australia, or have never been and just want to learn more about Australia, this site is for you.
Over the years since 1989, I have been to Australia 9 times. The most recent trip was completed in April, 2006. At this point my next trip has not been scheduled. I am planning it for 2009 or 2010. I have decided to put my knowledge to good use and to share it with others on this web site. Please email me with your comments and suggestions. A little help goes a long way. I have added a guestbook to my site. Please add your comments.
I have also added a feedback page to send your private comments to me without using your email program, or if you don't have access to it.
Please email me your stories and letters for publication on my web site. Use the contact page. I would like to hear from you!!
I have added an AIM® icon so visitors to
my web site can chat live with me if I am online.

For more information on the McLeod's Daughters show, click here to go to the Channel Nine site, or click here to go the the official fan site. To buy the Australian DVDs click here. In order to view the Australian DVDs, you must have a region free DVD player that also converts the Australian PAL standard to the USA NTSC standard for viewing on your TV. (Australia is region 4, the USA is region 1.) DVD players that will do this can be found on the DVD City web site. The DVDs are also on the USA market. These are Region 1, NTSC. No special player is needed. To order the USA DVDs, you can click here to go to the Amazon McLeod's Daughters order page. If you are a fan of the show like I am (and a lot of others) the DVDs are well worth having in your collection. Check out my 2006 trip pictures page for the McLeod's Daughters pictures I shot while on the set. To listen to a few songs from the series, click here. (Broadband recommended.)
If you plan to take a plane flight, you will want to checkout an excellent article from International Travel News magazine. Click the PDF link further down this page.
I did not attend the 2007 Australian Festival this year due to the location change to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My attendance is doubtful unless the management moves it back to a more centralized location. It should have stayed in Nashville. Dumb move on their part. (Just my opinion. Are they reading this?) I am not the only one with an opinion on this. To read my open letter, Click Here .
